Yesterday the Winchendon Fire Department continued its great working relationship with the MWCC Forest Fire Control and Management 197 Class by hosting their field day for the third year. Each year the program continues to expand and the skills of the students are always amazing. Even with the windy conditions the training was conducted safely and effectively. A special thanks to Templeton Fire for allowing us to use their forestry truck.
