As EMS Week comes to a close I would like to give a big thank you to all of our department’s responders. It is your unending caring for your patients that allows us to keep the citizens of Winchendon safe. The biggest thank you though goes out to the spouses, significant others, family and friends of our responders. Without their support and understanding our members would not be the talented individuals they are. These supportive individuals are the true heroes of EMS week and every week beyond. A special thank you to Dr. Wilson for dropping off snacks for the crews and to Amy Scott for putting together a big laundry basket full of snacks and drinks for all to enjoy. All of this effort makes me proud to be the Winchendon Fire Chief.
