The Winchendon Fire Department would like to remind all members past and present that Firefighter Sunday is fast approaching. On Sunday, June 9th, breakfast will start at 7:30AM at the fire station. Once breakfast is finished we will continue over to the Firefighter monument on Glenallen Street for our ceremony at 8:45AM. This tradition has been going on for decades in Winchendon and is an honor for me to be able to lead. Members are reminded that Class A uniforms should be worn for the ceremony if possible, however it is your attendance that makes the ceremony meaningful. All community members are welcome to attend the 8:45AM ceremony at the monument.
